Bun Bo Hue in Ho Chi Minh – the taste of imperial city
Special vietnamese soup with wagyu beef
Bun Bo Hue (Bún bò Huế in Vietnamese) is one of the popular traditional dishes in Vietnam. The special noodle soup with spicy beef is a must-try. You can feel the taste of the imperial city of Hue, where it originates from.
We tried Bun Bo Hue in Ho Chi Minh city and the taste was absolutely incredible. We promise you, next time we will try it in Hue. 🙂
The restaurant named Bún bò Huế Duyên Mai offers an authentic Hue food. We ordered a wagyu beef soup in hot stone and rice with beef.
The meat was very well cut and served.
Because it is thinly sliced, once it is added to the hot soup, it literally cooks in a minute. After adding the accompanying vegetables, it becomes something indescribably delicious.
This is a dish with authentic Hue spices such as shrimp paste, five-spice powder and chili powder.
In this restaurant you receive a rich flavored broth and thinly sliced beef, noodles and fragrant herbs. Just mix it all together and your amazing bowl of Bun Bo Hue is ready to eat.
The interesting fact about Bun Bo Hue – many eateries like to add ingredients like pork leg, pork bologna, crab cake and even a beef blood to enhance its flavor.
In Bún bò Huế Duyên Mai the service was excellent! The staff is very helpful and friendly. They will explain everything to you about the food. The restaurant is clean and air-conditioned – this is very important when the outside temperature is 35+ degrees.
We also tried their desserts. The yogurt with black rice was incredible. The Lychee dessert with lotus seeds was so refreshing.
Absolutely worth it and we highly recommend! Everything was perfect!
One more big plus – you can pay with credit card and cash, of course.
