If you in Kansai region, Japan, you must to visit Osaka castle. This is the most beautiful place in Osaka and you can explore it for one day.

First of all, beautiful architecture! Massive castle grounds surrounded by nature to explore. The place was really crowded when we came around 1-2 PM. If you want to beat the crowds, come early or late. You will find a many spots for beautiful pictures for your Instagram.

Entrance to the complex is free. Admission to the top of castle and museum is 600 yen (about 4 USD). Museum is interesting but no photos allowed. Lots of history! If you don’t care for the view from a top or the museum, skip the tickets.

The easiest way: Get a train from JR Osaka Station to Osaka Castle (Osakajokoen Station) – about 10 minutes. Ticket price: about 170 yen or just about 1 USD.
